Memorial Day weekend 2013

Start of the summer season and the first long weekend of the year, but the weather was dreadful Saturday, grey, windy, showery and a max of only 10C. The weather got progressively better and today it was fine, sunny and warm. After a coffee, croissant and catching up on the weekend sports results at "Joe" on Lexington Ave, we cycled over to Central Park and went to the North Woods up in the remote northern end near Harlem, then in the afternoon we went back to a wonderful new playground we have found all the way down at Pearl St, near South Street seaport. On the way home stopped for a pizza at Pulino's on Houston, and Xavi;s first ever ice cream, which he quite liked!
